Alright I’ve released a fix. This should work for all users but I have done very limited testing. Please let me know how it works. Also the episode based timer is now broken. But I’m looking into ways to make it work.

Make sure you close autoFlix if it’s running before installing the new version.

Thanks,

Jason Stallings

    Hello,

I bought Autoflix several months ago (love it!). How do I download the new version?

I repurchased it…the program is totally worth it. The fix works great so far. But – if something like this happens again, maybe it would be good to know how to get an update.

It seems like my update emails might be getting marked as spam.

      Sorry about this.

One issue that I’ve found is that the Netflix progress bar keeps flickering on at random times. I’ve shut off any other programs that were running (except AVG) and it still happens. It doesn’t happen when Autoflix is shut down. I’m on Vista Home. It’s kinda like when you move the mouse a bit and the player controls come up – but I’ve even unplugged the mouse, and it still happens. Just FYI. Thanks!

I’ve seen this too and I was hoping no one would notice. I’m working on a fix.

Thanks, Jason. Autoflix was worth paying for twice…it’s all good. Next time I’ll look in the Spam folder. 😉 Thanks for looking into the flickering.

I am having trouble downloading auto from your update emails. I keep getting “Error (509)
This account’s public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!”

Also getting same error as Jennifer. Thanks for the update and keep up the great work!

Autoflix seems to occasionally not work at all. Even in full screen mode. I’ve tried closing and restarting my browser, and Autoflix, but it seems to be a random thing. Also, will there eventually be a fix for Autoflix to work when the browser is not in full screen mode, like the last version did? I’ve disabled many background programs to help prevent my browser from exiting full screen automatically, but it still happens on occasion, at which point Autoflix stops working. Thanks!

      Which version are you using?

Also because of the new Netflix layout. Making autoFlix work without fullscreen would be difficult. But if you have an iPhone, my iPhone app coming out this week allows you to fullscreen Netflix.

    love the app!
    …it recently stopped working :(

new netflix player plays an episode, then stops 2-minutes into the next episode, then displays stops and displays ‘continue playing’, ‘play from beginning’, and ‘back to browser’. from what i’ve read, this means play next episode button was not clicked.

I’ve tried different combinations of timer off/on, episode, this-n-that…you get it.

we have player 1.9.4 and have tried firefox, chrome, max screen and not maxed screen.

Get this app everyone! If you hate the new Netflix fake auto play where they pause after 5 minutes to ask if you want to continue playing, then this app makes that not a problem anymore! And it’s free…… what are you still doing reading this? Go download it now! And Jason is awesome!
